The mechanical movement and other clock parts were made in Germany by the Hermle company. The Hermle grandfather clock is outfitted with a dial offering ornate castings, Arabic numerals, a moving moon-phase dial and black serpentine hands. A matching pendulum bob behind the beveled waist glass hangs below a mechanical brass 8-day flagship cable-driven movement that offers three of the most renowned clock melodies: Westminster, Whittington and St. Michael.
